  1. WOW!!! I REMEMBER BUYING KOLO MEE MIXED WITH CHILI SAUCE. JUST SIMPLE MEAL TO GET YOU THROUGH THE REST OF THE MORNING. JIM LEE HELPED HIS MOM & DAD IN SELLING ALL THE FOODSTUFF. HIS PARENTS WERE VERY NICE. MEMORABLE MOMENTS.

  2. Wah lau aaa! the smell of the kolok mee is coming back!!! used to have second helpings and still look like a teck Ko!!! ha ha 1st thing to do in KCH is Kolok Mee,Laksa and Kueh Chap....ha ha....I eat like a pig in KCH!!!

    Since you are working at JKR,you can ask you colleague at the engineering section to assist to locate Drahman Ulis.He works as a consulting engineer but I do not know the name of his firm.Guess he might has some dealings with JKR.

    EASY TO FIND locality same row with PUBLIC BANK..JUST TRY [BLACK VINEGAR kolo mee taste the difference normal kolo mee.. price RM3.00 PER BOWL....POPULAL NIGHT SPOT NOW with about 20 to30 OPEN AIR site usually full 7.30 to 12.00 midnight...INTROCUCE TO all fly in 2010bb..

    Ya, you are right! on top of that you have C121 just next to Lau Lee where u have even more varieties e.g "ang chou duck" noodless(Lucy, yr foochow favourite??), Taiwan & Vietnam delicacies, mee mamak, etc...yum! ...yum eat till you pok kai!! hehehe...

Thanks for info...already been to Spring on my last trip to Kch. went with Thomas and Siong Moh...very nice place....when going for food...I'm talking about food only available in Kuching...like Belacan Bee Hoon, Sarawak Laksa, Kueh Chap, Carpenter Street 'Chey Kueh'always only ready after 2pm...etc...there is kueh chap in PJ ..some guy from Batukawa...prepares very few items only..not so great...Sarawak laksa also got for many years at Bangsar KL also sells Kacanma...quite good and she is from Padungan Road..Christine is her name! Kuching has the original fresh ones only...
