  15. Credit to the committee members for the good job thus far.Do consider a minute of silence at the beginning of the program in honour of our beloved headmistress Mrs.Ngiam.Her passing triggered some of us earlier to consider this reunion......she started the sparks and her students keep the candle burning.Mrs Ngiam, we love you.

  16. Guys,I was a contented by-stander all this while watching the comments in this blog. Being an IT idiot,I have just figured out how to locate this site.I was in the era of the Fotran card reader before PC arrived....so I can be forgiven.
I saw the comment of Guan Teck that touched my live wire and requires a respond ...though a late response. He said "Liverpool who ?" when he associated the red to MU and Arsenal.
The legendary BoB Paisley once was asked by a reporter."Who are the two greatest teams in Europe?" He said," It is Liverpool FC and Liverpool reserve." Under this man, Liverpool won 6 out of 9 league champ, 3 European cup winners. At one time, the England squad was dominated by Liverpool players. As far I am concerned, Liverpool is the true red.The rest are imitations. I must confessed, over the years I have changed from red to grey !!

Guys, want to know some of best kept secrets for 30+ years ?

I have not heard anything from my gang AngMos,Ahmad,Delenon (?)Malik(?) (my apology if I got your names wrong)...our past time hobby was peeping at teachers' panties. Don't get us wrong....nothing sexual because our "growth" hormone was still not developed at that time....simply an unusual hobby.
Ya I saw a picture of our dancing girls in this blog....perhaps they can perform in that famous Madonna outfits during our BB.

KTGSS was really a center of excellence...one example was the Biology lesson. The teacher taught us the theory of reproduction. The he cow and she cow showed us how it was done at the field. (remember the padang with strayed cows ?) Later in life when we practiced, we remembered what the teacher and the cow taught us.. As they say - learn the theory, see and then practice makes it perfect !!!

I am sure there are many more secrets that can be shared.........according to the secret act 101,after 30 years secrets are ok for publication. Please do not quote me on this.

I can now feel the butterfly in my stomach, yes I am counting the days left before the BB.
    See everyone soon.

  18. My dear Jamel,

At last we hear from you in the blog. What a wonderful and thoughtful suggestion for a minute silence for our late beloved Mrs Ngiam. We should observe that.
Wow, what colours can do to a man. You are true red. I have only been interested in EPL football only recently when I saw how beautiful and entertaining Arsenal play , like the Brazilian. In my 8 years in England, I have never supported any team or watched any football on TV if there were any live then. I love World Cup Football and my greatest joy was to see England lose their matches. I am hoping England will be kicked out in the first round in this year World Cup. Haha, I am sure I will let off a few sparks. Well, I am a die hard anti-England football team No 1 supporter if there is such club !! SO much about football....
Jamel, you are my earliest or longest classmate. Remember we went to school together on the first day in Primary 1 in Simanggang ? We were neighbours and your brother brought you and my brother me to school. I think we did not want our mothers to sent us for fear of being teased. In the afternoon , we fought with those bamboo pop guns ..... Those were the happy and care free days. I also remember the afternoon tea and bread after our adventure. How is your Hokkien these days ? We have much to catch up ......
    Cheers.

  30. Hi, me again & have just landed in Jakarta.
Guan Teck, my Hokkien ? Ok aye sai tampok tambok lah ! Despite having a Chinese wife unfortunately
my Hokkien is not getting better.

Guys, let not get uptight.Sometimes we have to agree to disagree. The fact that we are different make us "colourful" & interesting. If we have 200 "clone" of Thomas,HHH or David going to the BB - then it is going to be a boring world. So guys be cool....always remember our objective.

    Good night & sweet dream.

    ReplyDelete
  31. ANONYMOUS HHH,

TO SATISFY YOUR CURIOSITY...I WAS NEVER A PREFECT IN SCHOOL...& COULD NEVER BE...'COS TOO NAUGHTY TO BE ONE...IF I WERE A PREFECT, YOU WOULD NEVER BE BLACKLISTED IF YOU WERE LATE FOR SCHOOL...INSTEAD OF BLACKLISTING YOUR NAME, I WOULD HAVE COLLECTED ''ENTRANCE TAX''...hehe...THAT WAY, I WOULD HAVE MADE A LOT OF FRIENDS & ALSO BE RICH, YEAHHH!!

    JAMEL,

IT IS NICE TO HAVE YOU AROUND...WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THAT WE ARE THE BORING LOT? I DON'T THINK YOU KNOW US THAT WELL YET...

ALWAYS REMEMBER...ONE NEEDS TO BE DISCREET IN PUTTING YOUR COMMENTS HERE...OUT OF RESPECT TO THE OTHERS WHO ARE ALSO SURFING THIS BLOG...KIDS, CHILDREN, OUR RESPECTED TEACHERS...IF YOU SIMPLY ''BLAH'' EVERYTHING OUT, YOU MAY OFFEND SOMEONE OUT THERE & WE WILL BE THE ONE TO GET THE FIRING...DON'T FORGET...PEOPLE CAN EMAIL OR CALL US ON THESE THINGS.

  34. Guys, some clarification required here.
David, your pantun is good...kamek pun orang meow-meow.Thomas it just a figure of speech.
The fact that we are different make us interesting & colourful ie including you Thomas,David,HHH. 200 clone of Jamel is also going to be a boring world as well.I think that the fact that we do not know each other, we (including myself)tend to be a little uptight. Ok let use the BB as an opportunity to amend bridges. Like they say, tak tahu tak jatuh cinta.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Amboi....Tu lah Satu Malaysia.. I solely agreed with Jamel.Imagine after 40 years apart living our own individual life styles and with this BB thing approaching, I presume everyone is getting excited and kind of "loosing" up abit. Be it a wooden bridge, suspension bridge (sad to watch the satok suspension bridge left abandon to deterorat or steel & concrete bridge,... let's cross them - (remember to take a to & fro trip)with respect & harmony..singing: " Like a bridge over trouble water......."..Heheheheeee..Betulllllllllllllllll... cam tu bru tak boring...! kita ni kelaka ajar, si jua nak ambil hati...Jom.! all you Townians out there, hit some keys to make this blog lively & most important friendly...Lets bring our 40 years KTGSS spirit back -never mind if It is just for one night "stand"...heheheeee..

    ReplyDelete
  36. Selamat Malaem Pak Jamel... Jangan ambil hati dong!... Can I share something..?... ok .. To me this is ever an interesting word till the I die,.. One will not feel bore unless one thinks bore..You are right on the form of expressing our thoughts...maybe we are on the "free style" frequency will others are on "who knows" frequency.. I agree to use this BB to sychronise our wave length..hahahaaa.. Hai ya ..guys.. be happy...be jolly... life is beautifull..
    Pak Jamel, kapang pulang ya?...
