  1. Hi Ted!!! Is this essay for real??? I can't even remember....like 40 years ago!!!!

  2. Hi Anthony,
The eassy is copyrighted by Ted from our KTGSS School Magazine "BUJANGGA" Volume 1 1970-1972.I will photocopy the magazine and send to you by post or you collect from me during the coming BB2010.I forgot to ask you whether you have a copy when you are in Kuching. You definitely feel nostalgic going through the old stuff!!!

  3. Ha, ha, ha,.......... This is so funny. You should show it to your boys and see what's their comment!

  4. Hi Anthony & ex-townians,
Ted is trying to scan the "BUJANGGA"(Volume 1) and upload to our blog so that anyone interested can download and 'burn' into a CD/DVD.He is putting a great effort for the benefits of ex-townians.He and gang (Thomas Koh & Alice Wee) have been doing a great job behind the scene to sustain the blog, which we all should appreciate. The blog has assisted us to bring back sizeable ex-townians & teachers for the coming BB2010.

  5. Hi Ted!! So it is the real thing as explained by Siong Moh!!! The only thing great I ever achieved in my days at KTGSS was going up to stage during morning assembly, to receive a gift for doing well in class!!! Can't believe That's Anthony, "Denise the menace" of KTGSS.Mia Heng can attest to this!!Till today Mia Heng remembers me as THE Naughtiest Guy around!! Funnily I'm also the 1st few who volunteers for anything always!!! Also the 1st to get in trouble always!! Well I guess I'm being remembered well enough!! Was really great spending 3 nights back in Kch!!! Thanks GUYS!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Hi Siong Moh!!! will be very grateful if I can have a copy of the magazine!!!

Hi Joo Sim!! This is really very funny I fully agree with you!!!! How could a guy like me think of writing such text???? When all I can remember is chasing Anna Sim Pah Moi around!!!! Ha Ha And run away when she wants to talk!!! What a chicken I was then!!!

    ReplyDelete
  7. Hi Anthony,That is the character of most school boys during our young days. Some of them (including you) seemed aggressive chasing after girls but when they responded, the boys just 'chicken-out!!!Ha..ha..

    ReplyDelete
  8. Anybody contacted Anna Sim yet ? She was last located in Brisbane a few year ago, 2006.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Hi Ted,We must agreed to assign Anthony Chan Yee Tak to locate Anna Sim P M in Brisbane!!He might have to use a GPS to scan for satellite signals to locate her whereabout if she has moved residence. If he can find her, then we reward him!!!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Hi Wilfred, let's see how good Anthony is with his GPS. Can somebody help here. I am sure she is still in contact with one of us.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Hi Ted and Siong Moh!!! My GPS is logged with offshore fishing spots only lah!!! No info on skirts!!! too bad!
Read sometime ago in this blog some comment by Ang Mia Heng that he met Anna Sim somewhere in Australia and was invited to dine at her house!!! I envy Mia Heng!!! He should know Anna's whereabout!!!

  12. All these names! They all seem to ring a bell but I canna for the life of me remember their faces......guess I was one of those blokes who was not inot girls during that time, more interested in doing other things like like exploring the 'jungle' behind the school hall for one.....

    ReplyDelete
  13. I'm sure everyone would love to have 'BUJANGGA', we appreciate the effort put in by Ted,Thomas and Alice.Looking forward to BB2010!

Well, that was one of the best essay writing of that period in time. No joke!!! firstly, it has been published in the school magazine "BUJANGGA' and stands for forty years and secondly it is again being published in the blog for everyone to read. A green horn school boy who had just left primary school writing an essay about his new school is no joke. Today he is a different writer compared to his green horn days.
To those who wants to agree to disagree to my comments, please put up your comments.

To Siong Moh or the administrators, kindly extend a photocopy at cost of RM5.00 or +++ to any one who wants a copy of the magazine.

  17. Hi everyone!! the chinese song I remembered should mean something like renewing our friend ship!!! Someone pls explain!!! ha ha

    ReplyDelete
  18. GT and all the committee members, thank you so much for sharing. Hey, when you scan the Bujjanga and saved on to DVD, please reserved me a copy. I'll pay for the copy. It is so close to my heart and I have been agonizing over the fact that my family lost mine thru many renovations. Now I can have a copy to pass to my children!! Do you have the copy which I was one of the committee member?

    Great Job!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Anthony, i think the meaning of the chinese song is 'we can only have memory of yester years' my mandarin is not that good. i guess thats what it meant.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Anthony, the meaning of the chinese song is 'The past can only be remember. I like that song too. I dont mind to sing this song for you during the bb2010 as long as you dont vomit

    ReplyDelete
  21. Hi Josephine & Uncle Fatt Khiong!!! Thanks for explanation!!! so not very appropriate lah!!! We are renewing our friendship!!! but I like that song.... it's like longing for something long gone....like friends!!! Uncle Fatt Khiong do not underestimate yourself... after Gold Lable whisky and some wine the birds on the tree top might come down to listen even!!!! ha ha I will be your most ardent cheerer!!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. davidlaw56@yahoo.comJanuary 15, 2010 at 10:15 PM
