Where are you ? Please let us know where you are and join the Big Bash. You would have joined KTGSS in Form 1 or Transition in 1972 as the 3rd Batch.

    Hello..........Lily Yeo emailed school mates of Class 1977 and Samuel Ho called me last nite. Would like to join but I will be away then. My apologies but feels good to know that KTGSS has grown and nurtured so many of us all these years and possibly some of our children!! I attended the KTGSS dinner, organised by Wilfred Sim, last year. Met many acquaintances whom I know for years but didn't know they were EX-TOWNIANS!! Unfortunately YEO AH TEE left us a week after that event. Reminiscences of school days, classmates and of course our teachers will linger on in our lives and we will talk and cherish those moments from time to time. I would like to pen here the many great teachers in my time that I salute for their dedication, contribution and care such as Mrs. Ngiam, Dunstan Lee, Chang Lee Choo, George Tan, Chang Foh Soon, Anna Chong, Mrs Chong, Lim Liat Ching, Mr. Chuang, Mdm. Chen and the list goes on…………… CHEERS and I wish you all well and enjoy the gathering.

    Yes, I have been contacting my year mates to ask them to join the big do as well as to check up this blog ... well... since Teo Chin Chiang and Ivy had contacted me some 2-3 weeks ago. haha.... I must say that the comments I got from everyone is that they don't seem to know any of the faces shown on the blog. haha.. In any case, some of them will be joining soon.
    And last but not least, a big thank you to all the organizers for the efforts made to gather all of us together. Cheers!!

    Thanks for you feedback. When we gather recently. I could not recognise some of the guys but names sounds familiar. After awhile, the resemblance came back. I am from the 2nd Batch and I left KTGSS after Form3 in 1973. It is more than 36 years since I met some of the guys. We have changed after all these years, grown up, grown sides ways mostly. gray or no hair but one thing remains the same, the bond of belonging to KTGSS remains very strong and friendship re-established easily.
    For those who have not decided, do join us, it is not about only the faces you see in the blog so far, there will be more familiar faces. I bet it is the only gathering that you can be sure you will meet friends.

    Lucy Yong, the lady with the husky voice and a girl guide!! This is Joo (or Hwang Joo in school). Glad to hear that you are joining. Hey, we have classmates/schoolmates from all over the world flying in!! This is going to be THE BB2010.
    I have not seen 99% of the guys since I left KTGSS, 35 years ago, so I'm definitely jumping on the plane to join in. I'm just worried that I cannot get to talk to everyone within those limited hours! Anyway we have contingency to progress to Kopitiam for breakfast, if we (Ah Kong and Ah Mah) can still walk straight!
    Hey, pass the word around to all those we have not been able to get in touch if you have their contact. Look forward to seeing you!

    Hahaha.... maybe you got the husky voice correct... but I was never a girl guide. haha..
    In any case, we are going to have lots of fun trying to match faces to names or names to faces on our BB2010. Our batch had a reunion in Dec 2008 and some 40+ of us attended. It was a real fun and a most memorable night. I am sure this coming BB2010 is going to be equally good!! See ya....

    Joo...I think that night nobody will go for the food and everybody will not stop talking and I just can't imagine the noise we will be making..

    Hi Ivy... haha.... I will be flying into miao miao city on Feb 13th with my better half - in time for family reunion dinner?? Hubby can't join us for our big do cos' he has to be back in office on Feb 17th - so he is leaving Kch on Feb 16th. I will be staying on till Sun (Feb 21st) and on the last flight out - hoping to stretch the fun to the last min. haha...... I am still not sure where I will be staying. Have been checking out hotels. Will let you know where later.

    Hi Irene... hmm... still trying to crack my head to match your face to your name. haha....

    My travelling plan for the 2010BB confirmed. Me & Sue will be flying in from Kota Kinabalu on the 16th Feb 2010 and leave for Miri on the 18th Feb 2010. The whole family will be sprnding CNY in Kota Kinabalu with Lily Yeo's family.

    Thomas, I got a call from Yong Mei Ling just now. She call from Johore. She is working in Singapore but staying in Johore and she can't make it to the BB2010 cos' holiday during CNY in S'pore is short moreover her girl have no school holiday... I had email you her email and phone number. Just keep her in contact..

    Hi EJ!!! Keep it going!!! Anthony always remembers his friends even after another 20 years!!! That's why we must keep this blog alive!!!!! I will have to thank every one, who ever have so much as being acquaintances with me or being friends for my wonderful years at KTGSS!!!Millions of appologies for those misunderstood instances!!!!

    EJ you are my only contact from KTGSS!!! S0 much thanks to you also for the amount of info you have being giving me all these years!!!Your name is always the 1st to pop up whenever I reminisce on school days 70' to 72'.

    Still remembers having meals with you at your house!!! Drinking soup with a soup spoon in the main bowl
    and pour the soup into your own spoon and drinking from it!!!! That is the most hygenic meal education ever!!! I practice that sometimes still!!! I get funny stares!!! Who cares!!!As long as I'm happy is what matters!! I always smile back anyway!!! Ha Ha

    I'll bet that you are shock that I can recall that!!! Respond and do not ever disappear from this blog!!!!! We will have many great days still!!!!
