ReplyDeleteHi Robert,
ReplyDeleteYes.His name is Thomas Lai Hua San.Afer Form 3,he migrated to GRGSS.After graduating from St.Mary's University,Canada,he worked for many years at Standard Chartered Bank and later at Katas Leasing.I kept in touch with him when he was in Kuching but he has changed his handphone number.Latest information, work for another bank in Sibu.I try to locate him.Maybe Nasir Khan(Maybank),Lim Kia Hong(Maybank),or Michael Chong Kah Siew (HSBC Bank)knows his whereabout!!
Anthony: I want the real card lah.. the one in the blog you can hold on to it mah..you can only see..the real one I can put into my display cupboard.. Hi Ivy!! you must be my junior cos I can't recall any beauty in my class as Ivy Lai, only Doreen Tan Choon Lai....closest Lai!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Siong Moh!!! Isn't Lai Hua San the one staying at Sekama Road opposite Lido behind the row of shops on the way to Turf club?? Remembered meeting him at Subang International Airport in the 70's.. I thought he was Lim Hua San.
ReplyDeleteHi Anthony,Yes.Hua San's old house was along Kuek Siak Hong Road, the road leading to the old Sarawak Turf Club.(now MBKS Building). When you met him in the late '70s,he was already attached to Standchart.
ReplyDeleteThe beauty Ivy Lai was 1 year our junior.
And Chan Eng Poon is still around in Kuching but I do not have his phone contact.
