  3. Ha Ha !! Uncle Fatt Khiong...I thought we have a diversion agreed!!...I have stop going to ToTo...now you are tempting me to revisit again....ha ha Actually we have to be very thankful for the wonderful work of the Administrators of this blog...we get to rekindle our friendship after such a long absence....The balance is not even enough to compensate for the time and mobilisation of our last reunion...hardly enough even for petrol expenses...no one in his right mind should ever doubt what the Administrators have done....I am very sadden by Annonymous comment...Well life goes on!!!! Will not add to what Uncle Fatt Khiong commented......Have a great day!!!

  6. Anonymous....no apologies necessary...it your perogative to comment....I could have commented that way too....but I like to look at things positively....because in whatever we do positive thinking begets positive things...likewise among friends....Being truthfull always hurts if taken in the wrong context....Pls do not use 'Anonymous' as it feels wierd not knowing who you really are.....Have a nice weekend!!...No one is going to crucify you if you reveal your identity...ha ha All of us are migrating to another world soon...already half a century old...no need to remain mysterious!!!! ha ha

1-2-3-4-5 once I caught a fish alive....6-7-8-9-10 then I let it go again...Why did you let it go????......Cause it bit my finger so....Which finger did it bite????....This little finger on my right!!!!!!!........heeee.....heeee...Have A Nice Day

  9. that chicken feet balance for the adminstrators ,as a gratitute of their hard work , their devotion of getting the function materalised . the unnecessary pressure from the inconsiderate anonymous (still hiding under the girl's skirt), not to mention the unseen expenses they have to foot.

  12. Hi Gang, I had been reading the blog but did not post any comments but after so many comments I think it is only fair for me to say something... I am also one of the committee member in the BB and I know some of us had been put in a lot of efforts into this reunion and as for me I did put some or quite a lot of effort and donation into this BB but did not mention anything in this blog as I think that is what I want to do for the reunion and for the beloved teachers who had taught me and lead me into this beautiful life I had now.. and so be positive and we had not much years to come...be happy

Guys, you know what I loved most about this reconnection!!!!!...it really brings me back fond memories of my school life......I might have not really known most of you but in my heart I care for this friendship and for this reconnection....just imagine 40+ years still trying to search for long lost friends (classmates & schoolmates).....I dont stop here, there's still alot of friends that I need to reconnect, I'm dividing time between friends & family that I loved.......forget about those small issues....Life needs to go on positively.......HAVE A NICE HAPPY HOLIDAY

  14. Hi, Thomas & Committee Members

I suggest we donate the balance of RM233.35 to the Cancer Society of Kuching.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Dear All,

I have also been on the background reading the comment. I agree with Ivy that the Committee has contribute money, time and effort. Hours away from their family. I'm very grateful that we get reconnected because of their effort. For that I cannot thank them enough.

But having said that, anyone is entitled to their comment, query and opinion. Anonymous may have asked the questions that many are itching to ask. However, please do not stay Anonymous because it make you look like a outsider. We are all old enough to resolve any issue professionally.

Committee members are a little late in closing the balance as they need to make up for lost time with their love ones and their career.

It is good to have some of our jokers to add some flavour to the blog.

David, still remember your nursery rhyme...... Ha, ha, ha,....

I'm all for donation to a good cause.

Cheers folks and have a great week.

Subject: Rebuilding the burn down block:
I have spoken to Datuk Yong Khoon Seng on the long delay for the rebuilding, he remembers that the allocation was done long ago. His office will do the follow up but he request for any correspondence or documents that the school may have in so far as the said issue is concerned. Perhaps there are queries or replies to or from Education HQ, JKR or maybe newspaper notice for tender??? Can either forward them to me or contact Viviene(Yong's secretary) at their service centre in Golden Arch 3rd mile. Won't dare broadcast her phone no without her permission so if you want to speak to her , let me know.

  42. Dear Townians,
Tommy's efforts to get YB Yong's attention is much lauded. However, the crux of the issue is not at ministry level. The ball is now in our side ie.JKR.
SMoh came over for a chat a few days ago. Isabella and i gave him some feedback which he will pursue with the help of our friends in JKR. Let us wait for the outcome, coz it will be a tedious process to sieve through tonnes of tenders put up in 2009. I am not well-versed with the innings of contracts, tenders, and what-nots, so please bear with certain professionals' efforts[the Townian engineers, architects and quantity surveyors] on the new block project. And also my fervent hope, that this post will not set off unsolicited criticisms at govt machinery, which may cost loss instead of much gain.

  43. Hi Joo, Anthony, Thomas, David, Ivy, PCK and all,

You guys always have a good spirit and live well. I like that. I have just recently found ktgss blog therefore missed all the fun and get-together at the reunion in February 2010. I can't imagine myself being there and catching up with my good old friends. This is so cool! I am Regina Ang Yian Eng from pioneer #3. I have been living in Canada since 1988. Joo if you are Sim Hwang Joo, you would have known me. I think you used to be my girl guide leader. As for Anthony, Thomas, David, Ivy, PCK and others I am sorry I have no recollection whatsoever. I enjoyed browsing through the pictures and still having a hard time. Are you guys from pioneer #1? It's age catching up on me. Enjoy your holidays and good luck to all of you!

  52. Hi David,

My brother is doing well, thank you! He was actually back in Kuching last April 2009, then I went back in July/August '09 because my father was very ill. He is doing well now which is a relieve for us because we live so far away. I was talking to my sister Yian Li yesterday and I think she said Sim Siong Moh went to my parent's home and inquire about my brother. The good news is that he might be visiting Kuching this June/July. Don't worry I will get him in this blog and communicate with you guys. To all townians Happy Father's Day!

  55. Hi Regina Ang,
Welcome to our blog and always nice to hear some comments from ex-townians, especially those who are staying overseas.Your input will generate interest to sustain our blog, which has been a bit sluggish after the historic BB2010.Maybe,the reunion party has achieve the aim of establishing contacts between ex-townians/ex-teachers.
Hopefully, sustaining this blog will serve as prelude to the next reunion gathering for the aging pioneers.Well,we have to wait and see...and keep our fingers close...!!!.
Yeap,I went to your former house at Kenyalang Park to enquire about your brother,Ang Choo Teck before the BB2010.I met your father and he gave me his contacts in Edmonton. We did communicate through a few emails;about the blog, the BB2010,our families etc.I did encourage Choo Teck to post some comments as some of his ex-classmates/schoolmates are eagerly waiting to hear from him.But he still remain a nice and shy person as from school days.Glad that he might be coming to visit Kuching soon and hope he will contact us.
Wish your Pioneer3 friends who have lost contact will catch up with you through this blog.Hope you enjoy your summer holidays & Cheers.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Hi Siong Moh,

Thank you, we can only try to keep this blog sustained. Do you think there will be a 3rd reunion? Oh...come on we are not considered aged pioneers, we're not there yet not until we each have a walking cane. Haha!! I am glad you were able to get some information from my dad and get in touch with my brother. We live in different cities about an hours drive away from each other. Don't you worry, I will pay him a visit this weekend and keep him in the blog very soon. As a matter of fact, I have already got some contact from my old classmates which is great. We have never been in touch for years. Thank you and take care!

Where have all the flowers gone?
    Long time passing
    Long time ago
Girls have picked them every one
    When will they ever learn?

Where have all the young girls gone?
    Long time passing
    Long time ago
    Taken husbands every one
    When will they ever learn?

Where have all the young men gone?
    Long time passing
    Long time ago
    Gone for soldiers every one
    When will they ever learn?

Where have all the soldiers gone?
    Long time passing
    Long time ago
    Gone to graveyards every one
    When will they ever learn?

Where have all the graveyards gone?

  64. Hi Patrick...so my comments did have a lasting memory for you...ha ha Have a great weekend !! Enjoy 2 bowls of "Kueh Chap" for me!!!! Heard there is a new stall in SS2 PJ selling "Kueh Chap"..I'll definitely check it out ASAP..hawker from Kuching too!!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Tony.... saw the stall but never went to try. You go try out and let us know. My children likes 'kueh chap', but KL hard to find a good one. btw did Kim Lian adopt the golden retriever? have a nice weekend!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Hi Josephine!! Going to check out the "Kueh Chap" stall at SS2 PJ today after mass!! come lah! to PJ. Tried another one at Damansara Uptown..quite good but always missing in action...Think "kueh chap" boy is from Batu Kawa Kuching.
Kim Lian did not adopt the lost doggy...came to take pix with her...look good together though!! ha ha.. Are you still around KL?...Meeting to collect KTGSS reunion DVD at Empire Subang is on the 4th of July...11:30am...organised by Kim Lian.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Hi Tony!!! Am back in Kch for a week now, I'll be going again late August and hope to see you all this time before I get busy again.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Anthony!!!! You make it sound as if I just go and take pix with the log doggy.. I was seriously thinking of adopting her lah... but after due considerations decided not to. Its a commitment to have a dog... Hubby said "Think carefully", son said "Somebody's dog", daughter said "I want I want...." And I.... much as I love to have one, know that ultimately, it means more work for me.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Oops.... correction I mean lost doggy (1st sentence of previous post).

    ReplyDelete
  70. Not easy to keep a dog at home.In the '80s,my blackie dog escaped to my neighbour's house and chewed off a pair of their leather's shoe...and then I gave away for adoption.Did not feel nice then...!!!.Until now,I never have a dog in my home.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Ha Ha Kim Lian...cool!!..Got you!! always wanting to get more comments in this blog....just joking lah!!...can pull your leg a bit or not!! ha ha my comments are very sincere not meant to sound like you describe..very sorry loh!!...drinks on me at Chilis....he he

    ReplyDelete
  72. Hi Siong Moh....one of my pass time is shopping for shoes!! ha ha my Dogs like to chew them when they are puppies..ha ha Now my Golden Retreiver doesn't chew the shoes but take my shoes and run around the house like a play thing!! he he...and they like to dig holes all over the garden!! That's life for dogs!! Going to take Snooperoo for a walk now!! No cars around and hopefully get back in time for Spain vs Portugal game!!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Hi Kim Lian.... its good you didn't take the lost doggy in hahaha it really is a lot of work. Like my dog, I've to worry and plan for him whenever I come to KL.... who to take of him when I'm not around.

Siong Moh...... you feel you 'sim sng' when you give him up for adoption, sob sob, hahaha

A Dog is a man's best friend!!!!!!....talking about dogs....we miss our Dalmatian by the name of "Diamond" who passed away last year......my wife was sober for the whole day and until today we still missed our "Diamond"..........we adopt a female local mixed breed puppy from SSPCA after that and recently my younger brother gave us a male local mixed breed puppy.......these two dogs are our guard dog, but the female dog of mine is very naughty.....chewing anything that she finds.....slippers, shoes, cloth hangers, papers etc....could'nt do much but to see how it goes for the next few months before I send it back to SSPCA for adoption

  84. Hi,Friends.......wonderful lyrics from the song "One Moment In Time"

Each day I live, I want to be, A day to give, The best of me, I'm only one, But not alone, My finest day, Is yet unknown

I broke my heart, Fought every gain, To taste the sweet, I face the pain, I rise and fall, Yet through it all, This much remains

I want one moment in time, When I'm more than I thought I could be, When all of my dreams are a heartbeat away, And the answers are all up to me, Give me one moment in time, When I'm racing with destiny, Then in that one moment of time, I will feel, I will feel eternity

I've lived to be, The very best, I want it all, No time for less, I've laid the plans,, Now lay the chance, Here in my hands

Give me one moment in time, When I'm more than I thought I could be, When all of my dreams are a heartbeat away, And the answers are all up to me, Give me one moment in time, When I'm racing with destiny, Then in that one moment of time, I will feel, I will feel eternity

You're a winner for a lifetime, If you seize that one moment in time, Make it shine

Give me one moment in time, When I'm more than I thought I could be, When all of my dreams are a heartbeat away, And the answers are all up to me, Give me one moment in time, When I'm racing with destiny, Then in that one moment of time, I will be, I will be, I will be free, I will be, I will be free

  88. Wow, good to see that some of us are still trying to keep this blog alive.

Sorry for the long absence; went back to Melbourne for the all check ups and what not. Son came back from Brisbane and within 2 hours he used up more than 500 time of our internet allowance. Everything grinded to a halt and Pin had to plea with the Service provider to give us a little to log in and upgrade our plan. The next day, his friend did some download and we hit dead end. So I was blind as a bat for the rest of the trip. Imagine in the past we can live without things like this!!!

Regina, yes I'm Sim Hwang Joo. I have to change to Joo Sim because the Ozzie always get confused with the order of my name. So I have been Joo Sim for the last 34 years. I'm so glad that you still remember me. Those good old days with Girl Guides. So you must know Teo Ching Chiang as well. He was a very active Scout.

So you are in Canada? I do go there for Business. Which part of Canada? I'm meeting up with Adeline Kong (Pioneer 2) in Vancouver on the 13th Aug. If you are close by we can also meet up. The more the merrier.

Angmo, Hui Kiong, if you are in Vancouver then, we can also meet up and have a mini reunion.

Jo, I have to disappoint you. My cousin in KL rang to invite us to his wedding on the 18th Sep and reception on the 19th. so I have to decide between being in KL or Kuching. Anyway we can meet up another time.

Kim Lian, heard you decided not to adopt the doggy. I'd have put my hand up if I have a permanent home. Tell you one secret; I have to get a maid in to mind my 2 hamsters while I go away all the time. I'm sure when you are away, you can find someone to mind it. She is so adorable.

  104. Oh yeah, I remember Ang Choo Teck. We were classmates in primary school. A great artist he is. I still have the Suzi Quatro portrait that he skillfully painted in my autograph. You all still remember the days of autographs; we passed it around before we finished the final year of school. I still have it, unlike today where everything gets archived away electronically.
Choo Teck in reading, plse take over to say a few words in the blog. It would be really nice to hear from you after all these years. Tell us about your family, a bit more what you do (beside what David mentioned above), when you next back, etc. Cheers everyone !

  110. Hi everyone!!! Good Morning!! Surprise! surprise! Just received message from 'missing in action' Ang Choo Teck'...made my day...he he

.Hi, Anthony, I asked David Law the other day who was Anthony Chan? To tell you the truth, I could hardly recognize most of you guys after all these donkey years of lost contact with each other. Well, how are you doing over there in Petaling Jaya? We r very fine here at Redwater, Alberta, Canada. Temperature outside is cooling at 15 degrees C in the middle of summer. I am a big game hunting fanatic nowadays. Hunting season starts from September 16 to November 30, so in a couple of months from now, my buddy Chris and I will be in the bush stalking trophy black bears, mule deer, white tail deer and moose! Very thrilling indeed, you know. Bottom line is that it is a very good form of exercise, especially for our age. Hahaha...........so long, take k and do keep in touch, my long lost friend! Cheers always, Lawrence Ang Choo Teck

  116. Received from a friend from Dusseldorf.....Yesterday, there was a new report in t.v. about fb. There is a family in U.S, one of her old classmate found her in fb link, so she accepted him as a friend. He lives still in the same town where she is. One day, she wrote on her page, she is going to attend a party and will be back after 3 hrs. This old classmate got that message....he got her address in her fb as well and broke into her hse while her whole family were away. He came and robbed all their worthful assets. Tnx God, this family did install hidden camera, so he got caught later. They found out from the police that he's already in many criminal cases. So, that could be a good lesson to all fb users, never expose too much of your personal info. So I wouldn't be saying I'm away for holiday on my page.

What is the main ingredient of WD-40 ?

Before you read to the end, does anybody know what the main ingredient of WD-40 is? Don't lie and don't cheat. WD-40. Who knew; I had a neighbor who bought a new pickup. I got up very early one Sunday morning and saw that someone had spray painted red all around the sides of this beige truck (for some unknown reason). I went over, woke him up, and told him the bad news. He was very upset and was trying to figure out what to do.... Probably nothing until Monday morning, since nothing was open. Another neighbor came out and told him to get his WD-40 and clean it off. It removed the unwanted paint beautifully and did not harm his paint job that was on the truck. I'm impressed! WD-40 who knew? 'Water Displacement #40'. The product began from a search for a rust preventative solvent and degreaser to protect missile parts. WD-40 was created in 1953 by three technicians at the San Diego Rocket Chemical Company. Its name comes from the project that was to find a 'water displacement' compound.. They were successful with the fortieth formulation, thus WD-40. The Convair Company bought it in bulk to protect their atlas missile parts. Ken East (one of the original founders) says there is nothing in WD-40 that would hurt you... When you read the 'shower door' part, try it. It's the first thing that has ever cleaned that spotty shower door. If yours is plastic, it works just as well as glass. It's a miracle! Then try it on your stove top ... Viola! It's now shinier than it's ever been. You'll be amazed.

    WD-40 uses:

    1. Protects silver from tarnishing.
    2. Removes road tar and grime from cars.
    3. Cleans and lubricates guitar strings.
    4. Gives floors that 'just-waxed' sheen without making them slippery.
    5.. Keeps flies off cows.

    14. Keeps glass shower doors free of water spots.
    15. Camouflages scratches in ceramic and marble floors.
    16. Keeps scissors working smoothly..
    17. Lubricates noisy door hinges on vehicles and doors in homes.
    18. It removes black scuff marks from the kitchen floor! Use WD-40 for those nasty tar and scuff marks on flooring. It doesn't seem to harm the finish and you won't have to scrub nearly as hard to get them off. Just remember to open some windows if you have a lot of marks.
    19. Bug guts will eat away the finish on your car if not removed quickly! Use WD-40!
    20. Gives a children's playground gym slide a shine for a super fast slide

    37. Florida âۉ„¢s favorite use is: 'cleans and removes love bugs from grills and bumpers.'
    38. The favorite use in the state of New York , WD-40 protects the Statue of Liberty from the elements.
    39. WD-40 attracts fish. Spray a little on live bait or lures and you will be catching the big one in no time. Also, it's a lot cheaper than the chemical attractants that are made for just that purpose. Keep in mind though, using some chemical laced baits or lures for fishing are not allowed in some states.
    40. Use it for fire ant bites.. It takes the sting away immediately and stops the itch.
    41. WD-40 is great for removing crayon from walls. Spray on the mark and wipe with a clean rag.
    42. Also, if you've discovered that your teenage daughter has washed and dried a tube of lipstick with a load of laundry, satur ate the lipstick spots with WD-40 and rewash. Presto! The lipstick is gone!
    43. If you sprayed WD-40 on the distributor cap, it would displace the moisture and allow the car to start.

P.S. The basic ingredient is FISH OIL.

  138. The preacher, in his Sunday sermon,

used "Forgive Your Enemies" as his subject.

After a long sermon, he asked how many were willing to forgive their enemies.

About half held up their hands.

Not satisfied, he harangued for another twenty minutes and repeated his question...
This time he received a response of eighty percent.

Still unsatisfied, he lectured for fifteen minutes and repeated his question.

With thoughts of Sunday dinner, all responded except one old gentleman in the rear.

Mr. Jones, are you not willing to forgive your enemies?"

    "I don't have any."

"Mr. Jones, that is very unusual. How old are you?"

    "Eighty-six."

"Mr. Jones, please come down in front and tell the congregation how

a man can live to be 86 and not have an enemy in the world."

The old man teetered down the aisle and slowly turned around.

"It's easy. I outlived all of them...."

  142. Proclamation of Independence, Merdeka Stadium, Kuala Lumpur, 31 August 1957

Your Majesties, Your Royal Highnesses, Your Highnesses, Your Excellencies, People of Persekutuan Tanah Melayu.

I am indeed proud that on this, the greatest day in Malaya's history it falls to my lot to proclaim the formal independence of this country. Today as new page is turned, and Malaya steps forward to take her rightful place as a free and independent partner in the great community of Nations-a new nation is born and though we fully realise that difficulties and problems lie ahead, we are confident that, with the blessing of God, these difficulties will be overcome and that today's events, down the avenues of history, will be our inspiration and our guide. It is therefore with a feeling of particular solemnity that we have listened to the eloquent words of His Royal Highnessl and in particular to the moving message he has conveyed from Her Majesty the Queen2.

We are indeed honoored that Her Majesty should have deputed her own uncle, His Royal Highness to be with us on this occasion particularly when we remember that he is no stranger to this land: we recall too with pleasure his previous visit to Malaya and happy recollections of his stay have remained with us.

His Royal Highness has spoken in moving words of the past associations of our two countries. We in Malaya have a long history, but we do not lightly forget old relationships. For many years past our fortunes have been linked with those of Great Britain and we recall in particular the comradeship of two world wars. We remember too the products of our association; justice before the law, the legacy of an efficient public service and the highest standard of living in Asia. We shall therefore always Remember with gratitude the assistance which we have received from Great Britain down our long path to nationhood; an assistance which culminated today with the proclamation of Malaya's Independence.

But the long standing friendship between our countries does not cease with independence: rather it takes on a new form. As you have heard in the gracious message from Her Majesty the Queen, Malaya will henceforward take her place in the great Commonwealth of Independent Nations whose members are found in all parts of the world, and as an equal partner in that great association. We in this country will do all in our power to promote its well-being in the interests of mankind in general and in the particular service of world peace.

Thus today a new chapter opens in our relationship with Britain; our colonial status has given place to full equality but we are confident that, fortified by old associations, and linked by old memories, our ties with Britain will grow ever stronger and more durable. British will ever find in us her best friend, and it is a soure of much gratification to my Government that British Civil Servants will continues to serve in this country to assist us in the solution of the many problems which independence will present.

But while we think of the past, we look forward in faith and hope to the future; from henceforth we are masters of our destiny, and the welfare of this beloved land is our own responsibility: Let no one think we have reached the end of the road: Independence is indeed a milestone, but it is only the threshold to high endeavour-the creation of a new and sovereign State. At this solemn moment therefore I call upon you all to dedicate yourselves to the service of the new Malaya: to work and strive with hand and brain to create a new nation, inspired by the ideals of justice and liberty-a beacon of light in a disturbed and distracted world.

High confidence has been reposed in us; let us unitedly face the challenge of the years. And so with remembrance for the past, and with confidence in the future, under the providence of God, we shall succeed.

    A Murder Mystery –

Murder Mystery (true story)... A must read

For those who have served on a jury...this one is something to think about...Just when you think you have heard everything!!

Do you like to read a good murder mystery?
Not even Law and Order would attempt to capture this mess. This is an unbelievable twist of fate!!!!
At the 1994 annual awards dinner given for Forensic Science, (AAFS) President, Dr. Don Harper Mills astounded his audience with the legal complications of a bizarre death. Here is the story:
On March 23,1994 ... the medical examiner viewed the body of Ronald Opus, and concluded that he died from a shotgun wound to the head. Mr. Opus had jumped from the top of a ten-story building intending to commit suicide.
He left a note to the effect indicating his despondency. As he fell past the ninth floor, his life was interrupted by a shotgun blast passing through a window, which killed him instantly.
Neither the shooter nor the deceased was aware that a safety net had been installed just below the eighth floor level to protect some building workers and that Ronald Opus would not have been able to complete his suicide the way he had planned.
The room on the ninth floor, where the shotgun blast emanated, was occupied by an elderly man and his wife. They were arguing vigorously and he was threatening her with a shotgun! The man was so upset that when he pulled the trigger, he completely missed his wife, and the pellets went through the window, striking Mr. Opus.
When one intends to kill subject 'A' but kills subject 'B' in the attempt, one is guilty of the murder of subject 'B.'
When confronted with the murder charge, the old man and his wife were both adamant, and both said that they thought the shotgun was not loaded. The old man said it was a long-standing habit to threaten his wife with the unloaded shotgun. He had no intention to murder her. Therefore the killing of Mr. Opus appeared to be an accident; that is, assuming the gun had been accidentally loaded.
The continuing investigation turned up a witness who saw the old couple's son loading the shotgun about six weeks prior to the fatal accident. It transpired that the old lady, had cut off her son's financial support and the son, knowing the propensity of his father to use the shotgun threateningly, loaded the gun with the expectation that his father would shoot his mother.
Since the loader of the gun was aware of this, he was guilty of the murder even though he didn't actually pull the trigger. The case now becomes one of murder on the part of the son for the death of Ronald Opus.
Now comes the exquisite twist ... Further investigation revealed that the son was, in fact,
    Ronald Opus.
He had become increasingly despondent over the failure of his attempt to engineer his mother's murder.
This led him to jump off the ten-story building on March 23rd, only to be killed by a shotgun blast passing through the ninth story window.
The son, Ronald Opus, had actually murdered himself. So the medical examiner closed the case as a suicide.

A true story from Associated Press.

  152. Inspirational!!
There are times in all of our lives where we feel worthless. Let this inspirational story remind you that no matter what you do or, where you are in your life, that you bring value. Hope these inspirational words of wisdom inspire you to never give up.

    Our Lives In Money
    -By Author Unknown

A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20.00 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this $20 bill?" Hands started going up.

He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this." He proceeded to crumple the $20 dollar bill up.

He then asked, "Who still wants it?" Still the hands were up in the air. "Well", he replied, "What if I do this?" And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe.

He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. "Now who still wants it?" Still the hands went into the air.

"My friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson", he said, "No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20.

Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value. Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless.... and especially to those who love you.

The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or whom we know, but by WHO WE ARE.

"You are special - Don't EVER forget it."

    Have a great weekend everyone!!!

    Dance Upon The Wind.
    by Intimate Knight

I wasn't looking for it, but some how it came, and found me.
Before I had a chance to react, it wrapped it's warmth around me.
Like a thief in the night, it has come and gone.
I have nothing, but that vision to reflect upon.

Until chance comes again, I'll let my thoughts dance upon the wind.
All day long, in my mind, I walk love's lonely street.
Like a tired man that longs to sit, but just can't find a seat.
Then, there it was again, up ahead, to light my way.

Only to vanish once more, just like all my yesterdays.
Until chance comes again, I'll let my thoughts dance upon the wind.
I don't know where I'm going, and where I've been isn't much to speak of.
I just know my heart is always showing, leading me to some far off love.

Just when I give up the fight.
Here it comes to make the bad things good, and the wrong things right.
Only to leave me lost and lonely again.
Drifting away as my thoughts dance upon the wind.

It has a name, I think they call it friend.

  188. Hi David Koko...love this one...very applicable to my lonely soul away from all the "lau Peng Yu" in Kuching....Thanks...now alone again naturally...ha ha

  189. Hi, Anthony
There are times when our thoughts are blank.
We search for that empty space in our heart looking for friends.
We have many colours of friends. We don't have to clique to choose friends for friends come and go.
Taking for granted the warmth of friendship, the selfishness of our heart, the chasing of our dreams and the many....many......!!!@@@###$$$%%%^^^&&&***(()))___+++====::''''.???? . We forgot the word "Friend"
For the lost time and the only time that is left has triggered us for that search of "Friendship"... and to be with friends that can fill the empty space in the far corner of our heart.
TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE. GOD BLESS.

    A woman didn't come home
one night. Next morning she told her husband she had slept over at a
friends house. Husband calls her 10 best friends. None of them knew
    anything about it.

Man didn't come home one night. Next morning
he says he slept over at a friends house. Wife calls his 10 best
friends. Eight confirmed that he slept over and two said he was still
    there.

  198. Hi, Joo.....Thanks

This one is on behalf of all friends of Sam.....our prayer

    Dear Lord,
You know my friend so much better than I do. You know his sickness and the burden he carries. You also know his heart. Lord, I ask you to be with my friend now, working in his life. Let your will be done in my friend's life. If there is a sin that needs to be confessed and forgiven, Lord, please help him to see his need and confess. Lord, I pray for my friend because your Word says I should pray for his healing. I believe you hear this earnest prayer from my heart and that it is powerful because of your promise. I have faith in you to heal my friend, but I also trust in the plan you have for his life. Lord, I don't always understand your ways, and why my friend has to suffer, but I trust you. I ask that you look with mercy and grace toward my friend. Nourish his spirit and soul in this time of suffering and comfort him with your presence. Let my friend know you are there with him through this difficulty. And may you be glorified in his life and also in mine.
    Amen.....Amen
